Bio: Dean is the current Teacher of Music and Head of Arts at Hanoi International School. He started his career as a professional musician in a Danish progressive rock band in the late 90’s (who were signed with EMI) and has performed in many Jazz, Soul/funk bands, orchestras and contemporary pop bands ever since. Dean obtained a Bachelor of Music from Otago University, and a Post Graduate Diploma in Education from Canterbury University (both in New Zealand). Dean has just over a decade of teaching experience from Hanoi International School, the American International School of Riyadh (Saudi Arabia), and lastly Whangamata Area School and Orewa College in New Zealand. Dean has a wealth of experience in the music industry and in Physical Education/EOTC and is excited to share and collaborate ideas.
